Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.-<\/b> La Confederaci\u00f3n Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo), realizo varias actividades en la celebraci\u00f3n del XVI Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano (1860 – 1938), en el 166 Aniversario de su nacimiento.
\nLa principal actividad se desarroll\u00f3 en el Multiuso de la localidad de Los Alcarrizos en Santo Domingo Oeste con la participaci\u00f3n de una importante cantidad de estudiantes de esta arte marcial que instituy\u00f3 el maestro Kano al fundar el Instituto del Kodokan en 1882.
\nJigoro Kano es una de las figuras m\u00e1s influyente en la historia de<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

las Artes Marciales, reconocido a nivel mundial como el fundador del judo con una vida y legado que transform\u00f3 el panorama de la diciplina de combate pues tambi\u00e9n dejo un legado perdurable en la cultura y la educaci\u00f3n japonesa.
\nKano naci\u00f3 en una familia de funcionarios imperiales y tuvo que desafiar las normas<\/p>\n

un cuerpo fr\u00e1gil y que tambi\u00e9n las muy fuertes tradiciones establecidas en las Artes Marciales de su \u00e9poca al crear un sistema que enfoca no solo la fuerza f\u00edsica, sino tambi\u00e9n el desarrollo del esp\u00edritu.
\n\u00abEn ese sentido la Condojudo con su Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo, Cuerpo T\u00e9cnico, Asociaciones, atletas, entrenadores y \u00e1rbitros, entre otros, se unen a esta celebraci\u00f3n del XVI Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano 2026\u00bb, as\u00ed se expres\u00f3 el licenciado Jos\u00e9 Rafael Suarez Morales, presidente de la Condojudo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.\u2013<\/b> The Dominican Judo Confederation (Condojudo) held several activities to mark the 16th International Jigoro Kano Day (1860\u20131938), commemorating the 166th anniversary of his birth.<\/div>\n
The main event took place at the multi-purpose sports facility in Los Alcarrizos, in Santo Domingo Oeste, with the participation of a large number of students of the martial art established by Master Kano when he founded the Kodokan Institute in 1882.<\/div>\n
Jigoro Kano is one of the most influential figures in the history of martial arts. Globally recognized as the founder of judo, his life and legacy transformed the landscape of combat disciplines, while also leaving an enduring mark on Japanese culture and education.<\/div>\n
Born into a family of imperial officials, Kano had to overcome the physical limitations of a frail body\u2014as well as the deeply entrenched traditions of the martial arts of his time\u2014by creating a system that focuses not only on physical strength but also on the development of the spirit.<\/div>\n
In this spirit, Condojudo\u2014along with its Executive Committee, technical staff, affiliated associations, athletes, coaches, and referees\u2014joins in the celebration of the 16th International Jigoro Kano Day in 2026.<\/div>\n
