\"\"Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.-<\/strong> Con la fundaci\u00f3n de la World Judo Federation (WJF) el 26 de agosto 2010 en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil se instituyo el Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano para resaltar la trayectoria y ejecutorias de este personaje en el \u00e1mbito mundial que en 1882 fundo el Kodokan para promover y desarrollar el Judo.
\nSobre esa designaci\u00f3n este 28 de octubre, d\u00eda del nacimiento de Jigoro Kano, estaremos en la versi\u00f3n n\u00famero diez y seis de esta celebraci\u00f3n que promueven las Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas con diferentes actividades que van desde charlas sobre la figura del maestro Kano quien tuvo el honor de ser el primer miembro del Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Internacional (COI) del Imperio del Sol Naciente y Reino de Crisantemo, el Jap\u00f3n, as\u00ed mismo, exhibiciones, examinaciones de grado, cl\u00ednicas de arbitraje, caminatas, concursos de dibujos, entre otras.
\nLa Union Panamericana de Judo (UPJ), espera las actividades que realizaran sus Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas para ampliar y promoverlas en estas publicaciones en el XVI Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano el 28 de octubre 2026 en el 166 Aniversario de su nacimiento.

INTERNATIONAL JIGORO KANO DAY (1860\u20131938)
\n166TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS BIRTH, OCTOBER 28, 1860<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.\u2013<\/strong> With the founding of the World Judo Federation (WJF) on August 26, 2010, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, \u00abInternational Jigoro Kano Day\u00bb was established to highlight the life and achievements of this global figure\u2014the man who founded the Kodokan in 1882 to promote and develop Judo.
\nThis October 28th\u2014the anniversary of Jigoro Kano\u2019s birth\u2014marks the 16th annual celebration.
\nAffiliated National Federations will host a variety of events, including talks on the life of Master Kano (who had the distinction of being the first member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from Japan, the \u00abLand of the Rising Sun\u00bb), as well as demonstrations, rank examinations, officiating clinics, walks, and drawing contests, among others.
