\"\"DEAR FRIENDS, SENSEI, MASTERS, JUDOKA, AND MARTIAL ARTISTS, TODAY, OCTOBER 8, MARKS THE 73RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE CREATION OF THE PANAMERICAN JUDO UNION.
\nTHIS INSTITUTION WAS CREATED IN CUBA DURING A PANAMERICAN EVENT ORGANIZED IN 1952, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CUBAN JUDO FEDERATION AND THE GUIDANCE OF GRANDMASTER ANDR\u00c9 KOLECHKINE THOMSON, A GREAT VISIONARY AND SELF-TAUGHT ORGANIZER.
\nI PERSONALLY WAS A MEMBER OF IT FOR 8 YEARS.<\/span><\/span>
\nI was elected to two positions there. The first was as technical director.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span>After a year, I was split into two positions due to workload.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe first was director of refereeing, to which the great Brazilian referee, Catalano Callejas, was elected.<\/span><\/span> RIP.<\/span><\/span>
\n\"\"The second position, sports director, was Pedro Chirino Renteria.<\/span><\/span> Today, after many years, I assure you that I still respect and love it.<\/span><\/span>
\nI am also very proud to hold a Rokudan (6th degree) that this beloved organization awarded me.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span>TO ALL WHO ARE PART OF IT, LOVE IT, AND RESPECT IT.<\/span><\/span> I ARRIVED TODAY.<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span>MY MOST SINCERE CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS ANNIVERSARY.<\/span><\/span> HAPPY DAY<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
