The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) is a key occasion to highlight and promote the role of sport in fostering peace, social inclusion, and sustainable development. In recognition of IDSDP 2025, sportanddev invites organizations to share their perspectives, plans, and reflections on the impact of sport within their communities and areas of work.<\/div>\n

To submit an article for publication on sportanddev, email\u00a0<\/strong>info@sportanddev.org<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the subject line IDSDP by March 31st, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are compiling contributions into a joint article and social media highlights, showcasing efforts from across the sport for development sector worldwide. This is an opportunity to elevate your work, connect with a global audience, and demonstrate how sport serves as a catalyst for positive change.<\/p>\n

Why Participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n

IDSDP provides a platform to illustrate how sport contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fosters cross-cultural understanding, and addresses pressing social challenges. By sharing your initiatives, you contribute to a broader conversation on how sport can be harnessed for meaningful impact.<\/p>\n

We encourage organizations to consider the following questions when preparing their submissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Why is the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) so important?
