Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.-<\/b>M\u00e9xico y la Republica Dominicana dominaron las divisiones de la categor\u00eda libre de peso del evento que se celebro en las instalaciones del Centro Ol\u00edmpico Juan Pablo Duarte en la capital dominicana.
\n<\/span>Los llamados Campeonatos Panamericanos de Judo Abiertos en las ramas femenina y masculina fueron realizados con la organizaci\u00f3n de la Confederaci\u00f3n Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo) que preside el licenciado Jos\u00e9 Rafael Suarez Morales con el aval de la Uni\u00f3n Panamericana de Judo (UPJ) cuyo titular es el ingeniero Jaime Casanova Mart\u00ednez<\/h2>\n

En la divisi\u00f3n abierta los ganadores fueron Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez (M\u00e9xico) con medalla de oro, Israel Caraballo Puello (Republica Dominicana) con la presea de playa y Jos\u00e9 Jim\u00e9nez (M\u00e9xico) acompa\u00f1ado por Saul Valdez (Republica Dominicana), ambos con medallas de bronce
\nLa rama femenina fue dominada ampliamente por las dominicanas en con Juana Morban, Melanyi Adames y Audrey Puello logrando las medallas de oro, plata, bronce, respectivamente.
\nLa parte deportiva y arbitral del certamen panamericano estuvo a cargo de los profesores Frankbel De Le\u00f3n (Republica Dominicana) y<\/h2>\n

Oscar Morales (Guatemala), respectivamente, quienes tuvieron a su cargo la coordinaci\u00f3n del sorteo y de las diferentes ternas arbitrales.
\nLa Condojudo sigue las normas esenciales del judo tradicional de acuerdo a la fundaci\u00f3n de esta disciplina en 1882 por el fil\u00e1ntropo y maestro japon\u00e9s Jigoro Kano (1860-1938).
\nEl judo en Republica Dominicana tuvo su inicio al finalizar la Segunda Guerra Mundial de la mano de un combatiente dominicano en esa contienda b\u00e9lica quien inicio la primera<\/h2>\n

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.-<\/b>\u00a0Mexico and the Dominican Republic dominated the divisions of the free weight category of the event that was held at the facilities of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in the Dominican capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The so-called Open Panamerican Judo Championships in the female and male branches were held with the organization of the Dominican Judo Confederation (Condojudo) chaired by Mr. Jos\u00e9 Rafael Suarez Morales with the endorsement of the Panamerican Judo Union (PJU) whose owner is engineer Jaime Casanova<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>In the open division the winners were Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez (Mexico) with the gold medal, Israel Caraballo Puello (Dominican Republic) with the beach medal and Jos\u00e9 Jim\u00e9nez (Mexico) accompanied by Saul Valdez (Dominican Republic), both with bronze medals.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The women’s branch was largely dominated by the Dominicans, with Juana Morban, Melanyi Adames and Audrey Puello achieving the gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively.<\/span><\/div>\n

The sports and refereeing part of the Panamerican competition was in charge of professors Frankbel De Le\u00f3n (Dominican Republic) and Oscar Morales (Guatemala), respectively, who were in charge of coordinating the draw and the different referee shortlists.
\n<\/span>Condojudo follows the essential rules of traditional judo according to the founding of this discipline in 1882 by the Japanese philanthropist and teacher Jigoro Kano<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/span>Judo in the Dominican Republic had its beginning at the end of World War II at the hands of a Dominican combatant in that war who initiated the first training of several enthusiastic young people interested in the knowledge of Martial Arts.
\n<\/span>The Executive Committee of the Condojudo is integrated, in addition to Suarez Morales, by Percio Salvador Pujols, Juana Morban, Bol\u00edvar Abreu Lugo and Miguel Fatiol, who are vice president, secretary, treasurer and member, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
