300px\" \/>Es que el 23 de agosto de 2013, la Asamblea General las Naciones Unidas (ONU) contando con el concurso del Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Internacional (COI) y que para la fecha estaba presidido por el belga Jacques Rogge, proclamo el 6 de abril como el D\u00eda Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz para concienciar acerca del papel que el deporte puede desempe\u00f1ar en la promoci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos y el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y social.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3202 alignright\" Rey Jorge I en Atenas, Grecia los Primeros Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de la Era Moderna sin participaci\u00f3n femenina alguna.<br \/>\nPara este 2024 El tema es \u00ab<strong>El deporte como instrumento para promover sociedades pac\u00edficas e inclusivas<\/strong>\u00ab, la que forma parte de postulados para esta actividad de la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas en esta fecha.<br \/>\n<img and Sport (Paz y Deporte) invita a unirse al s\u00edmbolo\u00a0#WhiteCard (tarjeta blanca) como parte del compromiso con los esfuerzos por la paz y el desarrollo en el medio por la v\u00eda del Union (UPJ) is part of the thousands of institutions that celebrate the International Day of Sports for Development and Peace with different activities carried out by the affiliated National Federations throughout America.<br \/>\nIt is that on August 23, 2013, the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), with the assistance of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and which on that date was chaired by the Belgian Jacques Rogge, proclaimed April 6 as the Day International Sports for Development and Peace to raise awareness about the role that sport can play in promoting human rights and economic and social development.<br \/>\nThe date was not chosen at random because on April 6, 1896, the First Olympic Games of the Modern Era without any female participation were inaugurated by King George I in Athens, Greece.<br \/>\nFor this 2024 the theme is \u00abSport as an instrument to promote peaceful and inclusive societies\u00bb, which is part of the postulates for this activity of the United Nations Organization on this date.<br \/>\nUNESCO,\u00a0\u00a0United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, as the lead agency of the United Nations understands that sport is a powerful vehicle for social inclusion, gender equality and the empowerment of young people, with benefits that are felt far beyond the stadiums and different venues of sports competitions.<br \/>\nThe Peace and Sport organization invites you to join the #WhiteCard symbol as part of the commitment to efforts for peace and development in the environment through sport.<br \/>\nThe #WhiteCard in the framework of an event, competition or any sporting activity as a reference to the yellow and red cards, invites not to punish but to promote peace in a very special way on this April 6 as International Day of Sports for Development and Peace.<br \/>\nIn addition, the National Judo Federations of the American continent will hold competitions in this centenary martial art, arbitration clinics, talks on the meaning of the date, grade examinations, among others, under the direction of Jaime Casanova Mart\u00ednez, Elizabeth Thompson and Juli\u00e1n
