Cada año la Unión Panamericana de Judo (UPJ) se hace presente en esta ciudad para honrar la actividad que realiza la Federación Dominicana de Deportes Para Todos (Fedodet) la que esta presidida por el profesor Joaquin Albizu Livis.
El Día Mundial del Desafío contó con la participación de colegios, escuelas publicas, entidades cívicas y castrenses, entre otras, y que se desarrollo en una caminata que tuvo su inicio en el Liceo Gaston F. Deligne concluyendo en el frente de la Catedral San Pedro Apóstol.
La Confederación Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo) estuvo representada por el arquitecto Juan Eligio Barcelo Severino quien es el presidente de la Asociación de Judo Inclusivo de la Provincia de San Pedro de Macoris

It is a campaign to encourage the regular practice of physical activity for the benefit of health and is carried out every year on the last Wednesday of May, through community action as an effective tool for the purpose of raising awareness among public institutions and private companies to develop community projects focused on sports, physical activity and urban mobility in people-oriented public spaces.
Every year the Pan American Judo Union (PJU) is present in this city to honor the activity carried out by the Dominican Federation of Sports for All (Fedodet) which is chaired by Professor Joaquín Albizu Livis.
The World Challenge Day had the participation of schools, public schools, civic and military entities, among others, and that took place in a walk that began at the Gaston F. Deligne High School and ended in front of the San Pedro Cathedral. Apostle.
